We understand that your pets are your furry babies and are part of your family. In most cases, the properties of the rental housing providers are pet friendly. However, there may be cases where pets are not accepted. Ensure you check the property listing for more information.
Our application requests basic personal information, landlord and employment references and a credit check.
Please have on hand the following documents: driver's license, pay slips or a document to confirm your revenue as well as previous landlords' contact information.
Yes, credit checks are mandatory. Our community of owners, landlords and rental housing providers value renters who have a history of paying their bills as well as paying them on time; your credit score will be an indication of this.
As an owner, landlord or rental housing provider, we want to know if you are conscientious and diligent with your finances and if you'll pay rent on time. A tenant credit check will provide us information such as your payment habits, if you pay your debts on time, delinquent payments, bankrupties, your current debt load and or any other financial mishaps on your record.
We also understand that everyone makes mistakes, forgets to make a payment on time or maybe went through a difficult time. Make sure to discuss it up front with the owner, landlord or rental housing provider. Honesty about your situation goes a long way with potential landlords.
If you are serious about a particular property, it’s useful to show up with an updated credit score in hand, so the landlord doesn’t have to do the work. This shows not only that you’re diligent, but that you’re serious about renting their property.

In order to improve your credit score don’t take on too much debt, particularly high-interest credit card debt, and make your payments on time. Here are a few other steps to improving your credit score.
Always pay off high-interest credit cards on time.
If possible, eliminate your credit card debt.
Don't tear up those cards! Keep at least one or two.
If you see an error on your credit report, get on the phone and solve it.
Have credit cards, but don’t use them for everything. Use a healthy mix of debit, cash, and credit.
Don’t avoid higher credit card limits, just never use them.
et calendar reminders to pay all of your bills on time.
Pay off bills and/or credit cards twice, instead of once, a month. If you get a paycheck twice monthly, this is a good time to pay bills.
As a renter, you want to put your best foot forward when dealing with landlords and looking for your ideal place to live. It’s important to not only know your credit score, but to improve it at every possible chance. Be proactive by regularly checking your credit score with a free service and think ahead when viewing properties by bringing with you a copy of your credit score.
For the most part, the time needed to process applications usually varies between 24 to 48 hours.
After you submit the application, the rental housing provider/ landlord needs to obtain your credit and background check, while also verifying your employment and rental history. Those last two could take the most time depending if they are able to contact your references quickly.
